Born in 1967, Can Tokman completed his high school education in TED Ankara College, after which he was admitted to his first choice in national central university exam in 1984, Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry, from where he later graduated as a dentist in 1990.

He worked on aesthetic prosthetic treatments in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Cengiz Tokman during 1991-1997 in Ankara and took charge in the conference series "100 Questions on Porcelain Crowns and Fixed Partial Dentures" in various regions of Turkey. Dr. Tokman worked in Dental Information Center, an institute also established by Prof. Dr. Cengiz Tokman and he shared his experiences with participating dentists and dental technicians during courses conducted on production techniques of Porcelain Crowns and Fixed Partial Dentures
